Brian Reese - COMP Peformance Group

Brian Reese is the Director of Engineering and Business Development at COMP Performance Group in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Business Management. In addition to the engineering background, Reese is a ‘hands-on’ engine guy with an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology from Columbus State University, and holds Master ASE Technician certifications. His professional career started as an engine machining apprentice at NAPA Auto Parts, followed with development engineering at General Motors, program management at HUNT Fuel Systems, and most recently as the Director of Engineering at SLP Performance Parts. Reese has a passion for aftermarket and race performance, with particular interest in late-model engines. He has been and continues to be involved, in some capacity, with almost all forms of motorsports, from dirt bikes through drag racing and beyond.

In the automotive community, Reese serves on the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Councils, is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and is a regular technical contributor for various performance magazines as a freelance author and photographer.

Beyond the automotive interests, Reese is married to Karissa and enjoys watching sports (most notably Ohio State sports), golfing, travel & dinning, and winemaking.
