Arrow Racing Engines
Lee Carducci graduated from Michigan State University in 1984 with a BS in Engineering and was presented with the Arthur W. Farrell Award for Excellence in Engineering. Upon graduation, he was hired by Chrysler Corporation, where he worked in Advanced Engineering Powertrain.
His responsibilities included thermal modeling & performance development. In 1986, Lee became the Prototype and Development Engineer on the Chrysler TC by Maserati in Milan, Italy with the responsibility of the prototype builds and validation vehicle.
In 1988, Carducci moved to Modena Italy to become the Director with responsibility for Lamborghini Engineering. At Lamborghini Engineering, Mr. Carducci was responsible for development of several new vehicle platforms and a director on Lamborghini’s Formula 1 Engine effort. In 1992, he returned to the Detroit to work on various Chrysler Motors and DaimlerChrysler assignments:
- Development Engineer – Alternative Engine Task Force
- Program Manager – Powertrain Minivan Platform (European Diesel Minivan)
- Program Manager – Patriot Hybrid Racing Program
- Program Manager – Chrysler Specialty Vehicles
- Engineering Manager – Chrysler Motorsports
- Integration Team Member – DaimlerChrysler JV
- Engineering Manager – Mopar Performance Parts
Lee became involved in various racing programs including; NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA, WOO, USAC; ALMS; IMSA; ACO; SCCA; as well as the North American Representative to the FIA GT Commission.
In 1999, he left Chrysler to become the General Manager of Galaxy Precision Machining, a Precision Partners Company.
In 2001, Mr. Carducci joined GM Racing for their assault on LeMans with the Cadillac LMP car.
In 2002, he joined McLaren Performance Technologies as Vice President of Engineering with responsibilities for developing the Engineering Team and working on the Integration into Linamar as they purchased McLaren in the fall of 2003.
In 2008, he became the CEO / President of Arrow Racing Engines.
Mr. Carducci is an active member in Society of Automotive Engineering where is active in Formula SAE, and the SAE Motorsports Committee, is married and has a daughter.
