Racing has been an integral part of my life for the past 45 years. I started drag racing in the late 50’s and have been involved in all different aspects of racing ever since. Some of these involvements include; sprint cars/midgets, dirt bikes, drag boats, off road trucks, silver state, Bonneville, and of course drag racing.

In 1984, I purchased one of the first EFI turbocharged cars, the Buick Regal. We got involved with Buck Motorsports shorts after and that was the start of my involvement with turbocharged engines. We began racing the car in NHRA M Stock Automatic and from there on out the projects became more involved and the need for more horsepower and turbocharging became evident. Also, from that time on, we have been utilizing my engine dyno for R&D work for my customers’ engines, as well as a testing ground for leading magazines.

Some of my accomplishments in the racing industry include; first Buick Grand National in the 10’s, 9’s, 8’s, 7’s, and 6’s with my personal race car, record holder and 3 time champion Bob Rieger, NHRA world’s fastest door slammer Hurely Blakeney, NMRA champion Racin’ Jason and John Gullet, Bonneville records as well as Silver State record holders all utilizing turbocharged engines. Currently, I am racing a twin turbocharged Chevrolet powered Olds Cutlass in NHRA Competition Eliminator BB/AT.
